Nice venue, however the service is super slow. Ordered a drink 25 min ago ...and still waiting.
Always nice to hear new comedians. The host was cool for first timer but he used the same jokes over from last visit so it was a little repetitive. Food is pretty good here too.
Nice comedy club. Was hot in there, waitresses were slackers, but the show was good.
I thoroughly enjoyed the late show after the J. Anthony Brown show. I was not going to stay but I'm happy I stayed and enjoyed more comics and DeMarco was an excellent host/ comic. I will be back.
Great atmosphere to chill and relax. Food & Drinks are good. Standup comedy from legends and upcoming comedians.
Nice comedy club. Only down side was buying the VIP booth in the back of the club and not getting service, I had to go hunt a waitress down to come serve us. Wine comes with thr booth but it was served hot and they gave us 4 glasses of wine at the same time for only 2 people. The booths are uncomfortable having to sit side way to watch the show so be aware before you spend a lot of money on the booths. I could of spent $30 for a table and got better service rather than $250
Great place to go and hangout, even after the comedy show.
In town for the holidays and looking for something to do so we went to the Comedy Corner. Apparently we picked the wrong night. It was amateur night at the Apollo. The comics were "sad" but the spoken word performer's were pretty good. Malcom was our server and he was very personable and attentive.
Great atmosphere. Affordable prices on the menu. I will definitely be back soon.
I will definitely go back again. Enjoyed the comedian's. The service was good. The runners ummmm. I will go again to see if it this was just an off night for her. Overall nice facility. Good parking.
Very entertaining, food and drinks great, atmosphere nice and clean, waitress was nice courteous and fast?
Great spaces drinks where good. Will be back. Hit the club while you are over there too!
Great night of fun. Felt great to get out the house and laugh. Great food and drinks!!!
A comfortable Place to just CHILLAX @ THX GABBY,DEE DEE, ROBERT and STACY !!
Nice venue. Bathroom attendant was awesomely stocked and friendly. Will definitely return.
Amazing space, wonderful customer service and a gut workout! If you didn't enjoy yourself here, then you were probably the problem.
I enjoyed the club. We were encouraged to fill the tables near the front of the stage first. As I waited for the show to start I ordered drinks and wings. Fairly priced, fair quality. The show started and it was funny and interactive. Some guests were asked to come to the stage and we were even joked on a bit as we sat near the edge of the stage. All in good fun. Shook a few hands after the show to finish off a very memorable night.
Comedians were great the way the show is run though needs work. Over 45 minutes late and you stand in line while this is happening parking is not free and it is very uncoordinated seating is unorthodox they try to keep for people together at all times even if your party is more or less which is strange that you end up sitting at a table with a stranger but by the end of the night you all got to know each other it can be either good or bad. Apart from that show and dj were great.
Guy Torrey was hilarious! The service was excellent. We had an awesome and inexpensive ladies night out!
It was nice, my type of crowd. Young Joc and friends was there they did they thing. Food was good, drinks was cool. Only complaint would be the price for a bottle of water. Other then that two thumbs up.
Good laugh had fun nice comedy club great drinks Hennessey aka the haulk is an A+
Uptown Comedy club was sooooo amazing. This my second coming first was my mom and second was my aunt. They both laughed their behinds off with Don. DC Curry. My Goodness, i can’t stop laughing. They staff was amazing, food was great. I don’t have anything negative to say. Thank you for making both my visits something to remember! I will be back soon!!!! God bless❤️
Nice size, clean ...
The new location is great! Plenty of room and the wings ordered came fast and were delicious
Its was my first time there for a Birthday Celebration service was good and the food was good took a min to receive our orders but they kept us laughing while waiting
I love this place. Staff is wonderful and comedy on fire. I'm opening for Tyler Craig this weekend. Cool huh? Yes it is! Friday nights 1230am is your time to shine too w Demacko!
Had a good time. I went on Valentine's day and the show was great. The host was hilarious. Definitely going back soon.
The venue is pretty great for a good comedy show. The comedians we saw were hilarious, the food was tasty and security was quite adequate. Everyone clearly had a great time and we look forward to returning for another great show. My only dislike was finding out at the last second that parking was $20. However, that was for the spots closest to the entrance. There were two other areas to park that cost $10 and $5 respectively. They weren't that far from the entrance though...we took the $10 lot. Go check it out.
Greatest Comedy Club around! Legendary Name, Legendary Comedians!! Can't wait for the New Location!!!
Went there for a comedy showcase turned out to be a fantastic venue with decent food...The waitress talked waaaaaaay to close lol other than that place was awesome
I really enjoy it and will go again... Sean the comedian was really funny. It's the guy in the pic here with my husband and me.....
Great comedy in a pretty cool spot. You might get lucky and get an A or B listed celeb coming through. Remember, even if you buy a ticket, no matter the price, you have to get a minimum of two items from the menu or pay an extra 10 dollars. They allow up and coming comics to go on after the main sets too which is really good- but it's a really tough spot... But that's what it takes to be great. I'm definitely gonna check the listings next time in in ATL.
We came on a Friday night. The tables were spaced nicely apart (Corona)... No coughs in the crowd. The drinks were good and the comedian, Rob Stapleton, was hilarious. The food was good too. I'd definitely go back. Had a fun night.
The comedy was good, the service was decent. The door opened later than advertised. The staff kind of acts like The guests are putting them out by being there. The negative by far is a 2 item minimum per person, so you should plan to add about $20 per person and realize the food is NOT good.
We have been going to the Original location for years. I've seen Luenell, Guy Torry, and Don DC Curry, along with some smaller name comedians. One night we went to see The Plastic Cup Boyz, and when they wrapped up, Kevin Hart came onstage! The old location felt a little old and grimy, so I'm looking forward to visiting the new Hapeville location. You can sign up for texts and often get free tickets. However, you still have a 2 item food/drink minimum.
Good time- need more appetizers on the menu: cheese sticks, quesadilla, nachos, etc. They had a nice menu, but not everyone wants a full "dinner". The old location used to have more finger food/appetizers.
The comics were funny, but they have to figure out the service part. It was slow. The food was decent, the drinks were good. They should help their comics out by displaying their IG info, too.
It's a cool spot.
One of the original urban comedy venues in the city, now in a new setting that's better than ever. I was told that they had a new executive chef, so I was eager to try. I ordered lemon pepper wings, and they were awesome. You could taste the lemon pepper down to the bone. Kudos to the chef! The atmosphere was great for comedy and the comedians were very funny! Nice decor, very welcoming feeling. The service is great and they have plenty of servers to tend to your every need! Definitely Atlanta's best comedy venue!
Have visited several times. Recently to see J Anthony Brown. Comedian was fine but they should have had a better opening act for such a well known performer. Also, the service is lacking. Which had been the case each time I've visited. People in my party ordered beer but received no glasses. Asked for glasses and never got it. The food took forever to come out. I only ordered fries for food but they were lukewarm like they were sitting out for awhile. Barely finished food before last act was over. The paper menus look like someone washed it and folded it up. Very weathered. Restroom missing latch to lock stall door. Other than those things, place is nice though tables a little tight for comfort. Announcer was really good and funny. Please be careful not to double tip since tip was already added to your check.
My boyfriend and I went to see K Dubb perform last night. All of the comedians and host were great and hilarious. We enjoyed the dj as well. Our server was very slow with taking our order and bringing our food. The fries were decent, but the wings were super tiny. They were the worst wings that I've ever had. The drinks were great! I would go back again, but will not order food.
People are sleeping on this comedy experience. The comedians were funny not to mention good food I had hot teriyaki wings. Service is great the atmosphere is nice After the comedy show there is the Green Light Lounge in the next room in the club huge facility. The only thing parking is not free but the parking lot is huge.
DooDoo Brown was awesome. Service was crazy. Show started about an hour late. The show after us was waiting and our headliner wasn't even on stage yet! They were having major technical difficulties with the mics going out. I don't care for 'bathroom attendants' so, there was that, though the bathroom was fairly clean. I don't need someone telling me which stall to use nor do I need assistance with water and soap... I digress. Five little asparagus for five dollars is a bit pitiful as well. At least they tasted good. Overall, it was an okay night out.
I visited the portion of the club, Green Light Lounge. Long story short, very small selection of beer and liquor, no ashtrays for smokers, hot, and the bartender said that they only give napkins with food orders. There are no servers. The dj played pretty good music and it was a 70s party with a big participation so that's my two stars.
We had a blast. Improve was fun. They served drinks and the food was ok.
Always a good time. Lunch is served Monday thru Friday 11am to 6pm
Lots of laughs. Food was good. Just know there is a two item minimum purchase per person.
Come get ya comedy fix! Happy happy mfkn bdayyyyy ms dirty south!
Terrible....how you going to pre-sell tickets and then close the doors at show time.......but the parking lot attendants are quick to get your money for parking.......wtheck??Never again....such a disappointment
Great comedians. Food was decent. Drinks were strong. Not a fan of the two item per person requirement.
